The HOKA Cielo X LD has a close-to-the-ground traditional distance spike feel, but with the added carbon fiber plate efficiency benefits. The midsole of the Cielo X LD has more foam than any HOKA spike before and features the company’s lightweight CMEVA foam which is found in most of their other models. This midsole will help protect runners over longer distances and allow for athletes’ legs to feel fresh for longer. 

Embedded in the midsole is a full-length carbon fiber plate that forks at the forefoot which gives runners the snap they need to keep pushing the pace, but also allows the foot to catch more foam in the forefoot. Finished off with a highly breathable and breathtakingly lightweight upper, the HOKA Cielo X LD is one of the lightest spikes around and is a solid option for advanced distance runners.
